GAE App Not Running

Im getting the MySQLdb library could not be loaded.error Heres the weird
part and why im beating my brains out.
I have an app I made about 18 months ago that works fine. I wanted to use
a small part of that (the Help handling) for a new much smaller app. So I
cloned the project. New names, cut out all the irrelevant code in the py
file; edited app.yami Trying to run the app locally i get the rdbms api
error. But Im NOT using that API afik. In either the original project or
the new one. The old project had import db which I initially took out of
the new app as it shouldnt needed; but putting it back in didnt make any
difference.
Help please!
